What are you talking about? Buying a house is not like deciding if Google stock is better than Microsoft stock. For most people it’s the biggest and most important financial decision they’ll ever make. It’s also for most people, a huge decision about where they will live. You don’t have to like B’stoner’s picks, but it is an overview of what’s out there, good, bad, and ugly. Not everyone is trying to be a player with “stakes in the real game”, whatever that means.
Serious buyer here – I do appreciate the weekly picks because it’s helping me and my husband in our research. We know our price range, we know what neighborhoods are on our radar, and we’re hitting open houses and sites like this one to get a better idea of what our dollars will buy. For the record, we’re not speculators – our brownstone will be our forever home.
I agree, most are kids trying to act like their opinion matters.. but even some are just bitter frame house owners or sour buyers that dont have stakes in the real game.
