Thank you snark, I was feeling lazy, but I was almost certain I’d seen it here before. I was thrown by the “first open house on 4/10.”

I think it depends on the definition of “fully renovated”. Obviously, someone could come in and live there as is because it’s been modernized and isn’t falling apart. (It’s not “newly” renovated, that’s for sure). But the people who plunk down $2 million + for brownstones these days aren’t usually talking about renovations quite in that style. But I loved the garden level entryway, too!
> someone who brought their style and taste from Long Island or New Jersey.
Looks VERY Brooklyn to me. (As if that were any different than NJ or LI.)
How long has the house on Washington been on the market? It feels like it’s been featured many, many times before.
1st Place is “fully renovated” – but it was done in the 80’s by someone who brought their style and taste from Long Island or New Jersey. It’s a 4 family. Maybe it makes sense if can get about 4k per unit in rent and run a wedding factory business in the room with the chandelier and blue carpet.
wow, that Carroll Gardens house certainly is not fully renovated. outright lie. unless she means fully renovated in 1979.
fully renovated, hardly but that garden level entryway made my week!
methinks that despite what the listing says, 65 1st Place might not be fully “fully renovated!”
love all 13 of those windows on the front, though!
