House of the Day: 47 Sidney Place
The oddest thing about the new listing for 47 Sidney Place in Brooklyn Heights is the broker the sellers chose to use: Tabak. The oddest thing about the new listing for 47 Sidney Place in Brooklyn Heights is the broker the sellers chose to use: Tabak. We can’t recall them ever having a Brooklyn listing, and they’re not likely to get a whole lot more giving the lame, lazy effort they’re making on this two-family house. With a price tag of $5,250,000, you’d think they could take a nice shot of the exterior and include some interior views as well. As it is, it’s pretty hard to comment on the pricing. The description makes the house sound pretty fancy schmancy, but without pics there’s no way to know whether it’s well-done, or just nouveau cheese.

Yeah, I know…
And in a sick way, if I won the lottery, it would be a toss-up between that and yesterday’s HoTD. But I mean, if you have $5MM to spend on a house, why not live like a mafia princess?
Just say YES!
First off…no making fun of NASCAR, I am a HUGE fan (sorry, can’t help it)!
Woah! That house is insane. I don’t even know what to say.
Nice, huh Biff. What the hell is going on in all those rooms. At least there was some tasteful austerity in Dyker Heights.
Heather, I just clicked on the link. First time in my life I’m absolutely speechless!
WOW Heather…
YOU ALL HAVE TO LOOK AT THAT MILL BASIN LISTING…It’s the Dyker Heights house with lipstick!!!!!!!
Middle America PBR drinkers and NASCAR goers now have a MILF they can vote for. Thats a sizable block that probably never voted.
For the same price in Mill Basin, you could get this!

Hey Dave,
I couldn’t stay away from the TV. So last night I watched a PBS special on debates. And they showed the clip of the debate where Bush and Gore were arguing on who was best equipped to utilize the 230billion surplus. Ahhh those were the days!
If McPain wins this house is worth 450K in Brookln Heights. And $5000 in Alaska.
