The current owner paid $2,500,000 for the five-story brownstone in 2008 and then, apparently, went to town on the renovation. Given the quality of the job, it’s hard to imagine there’s much of a profit margin left, despite the current asking price of $3,249,000. For people who care about this kind of thing, the floorplan is particularly interesting to look at in terms of layout decisions.

And I hope it’s in true Victorian fashion, silent but swift and hard.
dave, you are obsessing again. you are risking a reprimand from the Park Slope hall monitor.
“That shower looks convenient, though. If you nabbed a bunch of criminals, you could hold them there in the pen until the police arrived.”
I’m sure I’d have more fun with them in the tub or in bed.
A true exhibitionist feels that he/she does not need curtains because everyone else on the block has them.
Mopar, if you had a tub in the bedroom you wouldn’t be unwashed and then you taxes would be better.
Just looked at the photos in full screen. Maybe I do like the kitchen. There’s something odd about the ceiling — it’s too white or shiny or something. Maybe if they put up tin. I’d have to see it in person and check out what is beyond those counters.
The whole tub in the bedroom trend is revolting. I would also like to never see or hear another word about Jenna Lyons again.

The tub is not in the middle of the master bedroom -did someone write that? it is in the bay window.
A little exhibitionistic, not to mention drafty.
So yours is the house with the open windows and no curtains!!!!!

OMG, I’m unwashed. But I’m great.
