Co-op of the Day: 790 President Street, #2L
If you like the idea of living in a floor of a brownstone in the Central Slope, this two-bedroom at 790 President Street is probably worth a look. If you like the idea of living in a floor of a brownstone in the Central Slope, this two-bedroom at 790 President Street is probably worth a look. If you can handle the railroad format, you’ll find a nicely restored apartment with lots of original moldings along with some stained glass. At $590, the monthly maintenance is manageable and the asking price of $669,000 seems right down the middle. The first open house was yesterday. Did anyone go?

I said Clinton Hill has more crime than Windsor Terrace. That is a fact. Don’t take my comments out of context because you said something inappropriate here. I’ve also had two friends had their faces beaten to a pulp walking home from the subway in Clinton Hill and both have since left Brooklyn. Real life experiences backed up by police statistics.
Look them up for yourself. Clinton Hill is a lovely, beautiful neighborhood.
I own up to be wrong using this incident.
but I stand behind call you out for your double standards.
oh, you didn’t mention the rape incidents and how clinton hill is dangerous
“it happened and that’s all I noted it”
No, you didn’t just note it. You made an insensitive and not helpful remark and tried to make a joke out of it…”for all the buyers, wait for another incident so park slope can be viewed as dangerous”
Talk about the crime all you want, just don’t be an a$$ about it.
That’s the thing, M4L. There is NO JOKE. Someone was killed.
You seem to enjoy making fun of inappropriate things…last week it was women, this week it’s murders.
I have never said anything like you’ve just said. I said recently that I have been gay bashed walking around Crown Heights, but nothing about a specific incident or that the neighborhood was dangerous.
I think mostly I talk about how much I love Brooklyn actually.
btw, the joke was on YOU as I knew the hall monitor couldn’t resist
11217, whatever dude. whatever. you love bashing other hoods when something bad occurs and how that hood is bad, dangerous, etc. My bad for not remember your hood is hands off for anything negative unless you authorized it. it happened and that’s all I noted it. nothing else. Don’t be a hall monitor
It’s a glorified one bedroom. A 6 by 9 bedroom with window over-looking a shaft is only a bedroom for a dog or a person you don’t partcilulary like.
I’ve got to agree with 11217. Even if the person killed was mixed up with bad stuff, he is one of God’s children. A mother is grieving the loss of a child.
