This second-floor co-op at 138 Remsen Street may have a slightly odd layout but it makes up for it with a great feel, including 14-foot ceilings and lots of original details. The FSBO listing clocks in at 1,000 square feet and comes with a reasonable monthly maintenance of $825. The asking price? $729,000. Sound about right?

  1. Life takes an internet, puts it in your face
You click on the frontpage, then another page, then you log in
The OT is calling, it beckons, then you regret
    Ohhh-ohhhh-oh-oh, you’re a brownstoner blogicide…

Snark aside, I’d hate to see ya go…

  2. Nomi, I wouldn’t call this place any adjective that would make it command $1,000 psf.

Additionally, the buyer has an out if he makes an offer, it is accepted and then the condo docs reveal that it is not 1,000 sq. ft. as he is advertising, which, it looks to be less.

  3. 11217 has promised to meet us three times, and all three times reneged. It gets old – he is intelligent and I’d love to meet him, but why every thread has to be an instant war between him and someone else annoys me. I mean, how much of a blog newbie can he be? You don’t need to definitively refute every damn comment someone says about you.

11217, go to your room and eat an amuse bouche while you read these comments. Then email someone (half the people on here have given you their email addresses) and we can all blow off some steam the PLUSA way.

  4. Dave, thanks. Is this a really nice place?

“I am sorry, 11217. I have been too hard on you. Please don’t go. I apologize for the things I said to you in the past.”

Yeah, you should go back to accusing me of living off blood money, don’t you think?
