We like the feel of this one-bedroom co-op at 220 Congress Street in Cobble Hill, even if the kitchen ain’t much to look at and we strongly dislike the bathroom sink. The built-in shelves in the living give a cozy feel and the corner orientation provides nice light; at $677, the monthly maintenance probably comes out to about a dollar per square foot (no exact size is given). And there aren’t really a ton of real apartment buildings in Cobble Hill either. The asking price is $499,000, slightly less than a 750-square-foot apartment down the hall just closed for.

  1. The apartment building looks very nice, although it’s entrance is rather too prominently and hilariously featured on the apartment’s page.

Brownstoner quibbles too much. I bet that kitchen looks nicer in person and could be lightened up with a coat of less mustardy paint. And how easy is it to change a pedestal sink? Sooooo easy.

  2. Strongly dislike the sink. Wow. Wouldn’t think that sink could provoke strong dislike.
