The combined monthly charge of $892 is quite reasonable, as is the asking price of $599,000, we think. Of course, there is one small downside: We hear that some small-time developer may be doing some work across the street for the next 15 or 20 years.

There are some great 2 bedrooms with outdoor space at Newswalk, which I briefly considered, but then decided I don’t want to live on a construction site for 10+ years.

Inflatable raft isn’t that weird; I slept on an inflatable mattress on the floor for a year or two, it’s not that different.
(And It sure beat the towel I was sleeping on for the first week.)
