This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Bay Ridge, Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn Heights and Park Slope.

In Bay Ridge, this well-preserved early 20th century brick row house has a bow front, vintage details and appears to be in move-in condition. Original features include built-ins with stained glass accents, woodwork, fretwork, parquet with inlaid borders, and a dining room with Lincrusta panels and beamed ceiling. The updated kitchen has subway tile and an apron-front sink. This former Open House Pick sold in June for $1.4 million, which was $60,000 under the asking price.

In Windsor Terrace, an early 20th century brick row house has gotten an interior makeover that still retains some original details while providing an impressive amount of work and play space in the spacious English basement. At 230 Windsor Place, it is located just a short stroll from Prospect Park. The 20-foot-wide house is configured as a single-family with living, dining, a kitchen and a powder room on the main floor, and three bedrooms, two full baths and laundry above. Set up as office and family room space, the English basement has a kitchenette along with a full bath. This former House of the Day sold in June for $4 million, which was $605,000 over the asking price.

This three-bedroom apartment in a storied Brooklyn Heights mansion that starred in a 1970s campy occult thriller comes with a backyard with pond and a sunroom. The unit takes up much of the garden floor of 10 Montague Terrace. Perched on the corner of Remsen Street, right at the entrance to the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, the Neo-Grec brick and brownstone house was built in 1875. A combo of three flats, the garden apartment boasts eight closets, two kitchens and 2.5 bathrooms. There are at least seven rooms, depending on how you count them, and the floor plan is flexible. This former Co-op of the Day sold in June for $4.25 million, which was $300,000 over the asking price.

When newly built, this 1880s brownstone in the Park Slope Historic District was pitched as an elegant house in the “best and most approved style” and it still has a fair bit to recommend it to the modern dweller. Set up as a single-family, it has plenty of original details, including woodwork, mantels and a pier mirror, along with a renovated kitchen that incorporates the original stove. It is located at 828 Union Street, less than two blocks from Prospect Park. The 20-foot-wide house is set up as a generously sized single-family with kitchen and family room on the garden level, parlor and dining room above, a full-floor bedroom suite, and three more bedrooms on the top floor. This former House of the Day sold in June for $4.75 million, which was $450,000 over the asking price.
