This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Prospect Heights, West Midwood, Borough Park, and Prospect Lefferts Gardens. How did they fare?

A spacious one-bedroom on the fifth floor of a six-story elevator building in Prospect Heights was recently renovated to make the most of the apartment’s charming prewar features. The winding layout includes a large foyer, dressing room, and dining area with built-in banquette. This former Co-op of the Day sold in February for the asking price of $995,000.

For a buyer looking to put in a bit of work, this early 20th century standalone house has some period details, a generous amount of living space, and a private driveway leading to a garage. The West Midwood house hasn’t changed hands in decades, and the interior shows some original details like built-ins and wood floors along with some later alterations, including Deco-era baths and a vintage kitchen. This former House of the Day sold in February for $1.45 million, which was $49,000 under the asking price.

In Borough Park, a semi-detached brick house from the early 20th century has two spacious units and a garage. The Federal-style brick house has an arched entrance with keystones, stepped side gables, and dormer window. Its two nearly identical floor-through units of six rooms each with two bedrooms, dining room, an eat-in kitchen, and large closets. This former Open House Pick sold in February for $1.66 million, which was $20,000 under the asking price.

In the Prospect Lefferts Gardens Historic District, this early 20th century brownstone has plenty of gleaming original woodwork, including in an original passthrough, along with some modern updates. The single-family at 204 Maple Street appears move-in ready with period details in fine repair. The 20-foot-wide brick house sits within the original boundaries of Lefferts Manor, a single-family enclave carved out of former farmland. This former House of the Day sold in January for $2.075 million, which was $90,000 over the asking price.
