This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Park Slope, Bushwick, Clinton Hill, and Flatbush. How did they fare?

For an occupant who appreciates original details and has the means to renovate, this top-floor sponsor unit brimming with original features has a number of rare attributes and could make an exceptional home. It’s located at 563 8th Street in the Park Slope Historic District in a 1909 apartment house that is now an eight-unit co-op. This former Co-op of the Day sold in February for $1,268,505, which was $43,505 over the asking price.

In Bushwick, this brick house is part of an extraordinary Queen Anne row that is under consideration for landmarking. The exterior has impressive terra-cotta detail, arched windows, a dog-leg stoop, and cornice with geometric pattern unique to the stretch. The interior is highly altered but has potential for a sympathetic renovation incorporating still-extant moldings, wainscoting, pocket doors, and a mantel. This former Open House Pick entered contract in December.

In the Clinton Hill Historic District, this 1860s brick row house hasn’t changed hands since the 1970s, and although in estate condition, it comes filled with period details like plasterwork, mantels, and ceiling medallions. A legal two-family, 468 Waverly Avenue is set up as a triplex under a top-floor rental. The triplex is arranged with the kitchen in its traditional spot on the garden level. This former House of the Day sold in March for $2.55 million, which was $245,000 under the asking price.

This sprawling Flatbush standalone at 296 Stratford Road certainly isn’t short on space, both indoors and out, with two floors of bedrooms and a two-car garage. The updated interior includes renovated bathrooms, but many period details in the house remain, including stained glass, mantels, and wainscoting. This former House of the Day entered contract in February.
