This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Marine Park, Bed Stuy, Prospect Park South, and Fort Greene. How did they fare?

In Marine Park, an early 20th century Tudor style brick row house is in estate condition. The single-family house has three bedrooms and one full bath. This former Open House Pick is still on the market for $699,000, a price cut of $100,000.

In Bed Stuy, this Neo-Grec has wood floors, moldings, and mantels. The brownstone hasn’t changed hands since the 1970s. The former Open House Pick entered contract in June.

In addition to its fine period details, this early 20th century standalone house has a notable preservation pedigree as the home of Victorian Flatbush booster and advocate the late Mary Kay Gallagher. In 1959, Gallagher and her husband purchased the shingle and clapboard house in Prospect Park South and she lived there until her death last year. This former House of the Day was taken off the market in July.

The chickens are gone in favor of a hot tub in the rear yard, but on the interior this 1850s Fort Greene brownstone is still packed with lush plasterwork, moldings, and mantels. Brownstoner featured the dwelling at 96 Fort Greene Place in 2013, 2015 and, after a major renovation, in 2021. This former House of the Day is still available for $5.495 million, a price cut of $355,000.
