Our look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago includes homes in Park Slope, Bed Stuy, Clinton Hill and Boerum Hill. How did they fare?

First is a one-bedroom apartment with a practical layout, plenty of closet space and a prime location on Grand Army Plaza. It sits on the second floor of 25 Plaza Street West and within the Park Slope Historic District. The rooms radiate off the rectangular foyer, which in the listing photos is shown as large enough to be set up as a dining room. Wrought-iron railings lead to the sunken living room. There are parquet floors, a corner window and more recent recessed lighting. This former Co-op of the Day sold in July for $755,000, which was $30,000 below the asking price.

Next, we have a Bed Stuy brownstone that has been renovated and given a rather unusual layout, but the clean, modern finishes and thoughtful styling might appeal. The house last sold in 2018 and from listing photos then it looks like there weren’t many historic details left to salvage on the interior. The legal three-family is currently set up as a double duplex. With the recent reno both units of the 17.83-foot wide house have been given identical, open plan layouts for the main living spaces. The lower duplex has three bedrooms on the garden level and a playroom and the aforementioned bathroom in the cellar. The upper duplex has three bedrooms, two with skylights. This former House of the Day did not sell and is currently off the market.

In Clinton Hill, this 20-foot-wide brownstone has some intact original details in good condition, like parquet floors, pocket doors and marble mantels. The two-family house is set up as an owner’s triplex over a garden-level two-bedroom rental. Arched double doors lead into the parlor, where there are parquet floors, crown molding and a ceiling medallion. Instead of the expected Italianate marble mantel, it’s wood in the circa 1900 Classical style with Ionic columns and a mirrored overmantel with a decorative shelf. This former House of the Day was taken off the market in July. It is now with a different broker and still available for $2.8 million, which is $195,000 below the original asking price.

Wrapping it up, we have a 20-foot-wide Boerum Hill Italianate that looks to be in fine shape, with original details and modern updates. It’s a three-family currently set up as a two-family with a triplex over a garden rental. According to the listing, it was “gutted from top to bottom” but there are still some original details to be found. The parlor level has wood floors with an inlay border, pocket doors, a decorative plaster ceiling in the front parlor and the expected Italianate marble mantels in the front and rear parlors. A modern kitchen has been tucked next to the rear parlor, with custom cabinets, stone countertops and a door to a balcony. Last listed for $3.75 million, which is $500,000 below the original asking price, this former House of the Day entered contract in September.
