This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Boerum Hill, Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Prospect Park South and Park Slope. How did they fare?

Inside the former headquarters of Ex-Lax in Boerum Hill, this one-bedroom loft has gotten an industrial-style makeover with reclaimed wood, patina’d columns and iron railings around a bonus sleeping mezzanine. Some of the arched windows from the original Romanesque Revival-style bottling plant survived the many alterations to the complex, and that includes the two windows in the open living room and dining room of this second floor unit. Along with two more in the bedroom, they are the only windows in the apartment. This former Co-op of the Day sold in October for $999,999, which was $4,999 over the asking price.

In the Prospect Lefferts Gardens Historic District, this 1920s single-family has a fair number of attractive details on offer; with multiple exposures, original details, thoughtful renovations and a garage, there is a lot here to like. The single-family house at 1880 Bedford Avenue has a nice architectural pedigree and was designed by prolific Brooklyn firm Slee & Bryson. The interior of the five-bedroom, three-bathroom abode with sunroom shows a careful attention to detail with original features like parquet floors with inlaid borders, wall moldings and stained glass mixed with a renovated kitchen and baths. This former House of the Day sold in September for the asking price of $2.725 million.

In the Prospect Park South Historic District, a circa 1901 standalone Colonial Revival by well-known architect Benjamin Driesler has a wraparound porch, garage and driveway. The single-family has plenty of original details in the form of unpainted wood moldings, stained glass, wood floors with inlaid borders, pocket doors and a coffered ceiling in the dining room. It’s also quite roomy, with seven bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. This former Open House Pick sold in September for the asking price of $2.75 million.

Rich in detail, this early 20th century Park Slope brownstone boasts mantels, moldings, built-ins and a rather fetching columned niche in addition to some modern amenities like a renovated kitchen. A two-family according to a 1986 certificate of occupancy, the house at No. 280 is set up with a garden rental and an owner’s triplex above. That unit has triple parlors and a kitchen in a rear extension on the parlor level, with two floors of bedroom space above. As expected, the parlor level is awash in original detail. This former House of the Day entered contract in October.
