This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Bay Ridge, Boerum Hill and Brooklyn Heights. How did they fare?

With classic early 20th century details, this Bay Ridge single-family has potential with three bedrooms and the bonus of a garage. At 365 81st Street, the two-story house is on block filled with similarly scaled early 20th century residences. The front door opens into a foyer with wood floors and an inlaid border that extends into the living room and dining room beyond. A passthrough has been cut into the wall between the foyer and the living room, presumably to bring in more light. There’s another passthrough, this one in the dining room, to provide a view into the kitchen. This former House of the Day sold in April for $999,999, which was $50,001 under the asking price.

Also in Bay Ridge, an early 20th century barrel-fronted brick row house is dripping with original details, including a pier mirror, fretwork, stained glass and parquet floors with inlaid borders. The single-family house has an elaborate dining room with a beamed ceiling, wainscoting with Lincrusta and a plate shelf, and built-in display cases with leaded and stained glass details. This former Open House Pick sold in April for $1.496 million, which was $36,000 over the asking price.

With an owner’s triplex and a garden rental, this Boerum Hill two-family brownstone has a fair amount of living space to offer along with some original Italianate details including marble mantels, moldings and arched entryways. At 459 State Street, it’s close to the cultural amenities of BAM but also just around the corner from the construction site of the controversial 80 Flatbush development. The owner’s triplex has living, dining and kitchen on the parlor level and four bedrooms, two bathrooms, laundry and work from home space spread across the upper two floors. This former House of the Day is still available for $4 million, a price cut of $250,000.

This sprawling apartment in one of the grandest prewar apartment buildings in Brooklyn has a library, views, wood burning fireplace and windows on four exposures. It also has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and plenty of nooks and crannies, including a laundry room. Located in Brooklyn Heights, it’s undeniably elegant, with herringbone floors, a neo-Classical wood mantel and moldings throughout. This former Co-op of the Day sold in May for the asking price of $6.25 million.
