As we enter the year’s shortest month, we’re looking back to when the days were longer to see how four of our featured listings from six months ago fared.

This landmarked four-story Renaissance/Romanesque Revival brownstone on Sterling Place in Prospect Heights needs a bit of tending, but it’s a serious looker, loaded with original woodwork and other detail. It was built circa 1897 by prolific builder William H. Reynolds. This former House of the Day sold in November for $3.3 million.

Here’s a house under $1 million that’s in a nice neighborhood, looks well maintained and reasonably attractive, and has ample space for a family. It’s in Bay Ridge on Madeline Court, a cul-de-sac that’s a short-ish walk from both the subway (the R at Bay Ridge Avenue) and Owl’s Head Park. This House of the Day is currently in contract.

This one-bedroom co-op is handsomely appointed and fairly spacious, with a loft level that adds a significant amount of square footage. It’s on the first floor of a 24-unit complex at 295 St. Marks Avenue in Prospect Heights. The unit has its own separate street entrance with a small entry foyer, which opens via French doors into a double-height living room. A sliding ladder leads up to the low-ceilinged loft space, which runs the length of the unit. This Condo of the Day sold in October for $710,000.

This former Open House Pick is at 40 New York Avenue in Bed Stuy. It’s a four-story, 22-foot-wide Italianate brownstone (albeit one in need of actual brownstoning). A legal three-family, it’s set up as a single residence, with the kitchen on the top floor. This one needs work, and quite possibly a lot, but the few photos are tantalizing, showing marble fireplaces, some ornate crown moldings, pocket shutters, and other detail. It entered contract in November.
