The 2,550-square-foot brick house at 20 Grace Court Alley closed on Friday for $2,995,000, about 9 percent less than the original asking price but about 9 percent more than the average widget appraisal of $2,758,887. It doesn’t get much more charming than this.

  1. 11217,
Rob has graciously and voluntarily, for a long time, provided us Brownstoners with loads of comic relief. He makes me laugh almost daily. He astutely satirizes us weird brownstoners. I think if you were to realize that Rob adds much needed satire to this site, and is here largely to make us laugh, you wouldn’t take his attacks personally. Even though his occassional attacks seem personal, they’re mostly comic relief. That’s the way I see it, at least. BTW, I have never met Rob, but imagine him to wear a multi-colored soft pointy hate with a puffy ball on the end, a bright yellow and green jacket, red and blue tights… and he carries a colorful wand.

  2. MM, which part of this do you not understand….

  3. No, DIBS, I’m simply wondering why Mr. B does not answer the questions posed to him about the source of this info. Seems like a straightforward question that should be simple to answer but without the source, it’s not clear whether this is the final ask or the actual closing price.
