Norah Lofts doesn’;t pretend to be a leader (unlike Palin), nor a mindless party girl, like Paris Hilton. Frankly I don’t waste a thought on Hilton- there’s nothing to think about. Palin puts herself out there like a savior- she deserves whatever comments she gets. Norah Lofts makes music and wins 12 grammies. If you think that means she pus herself out there for pubic ridicule I would hate to see what you think someone should do to get accolades. Critique her music if you want- but public ridicule simply because she is a known ans award winning artist? Thats a logic I will never get. Thankfully.

As for the windows, I think they look great. Much more pleasant than staring at brick wall.

bxgirl i have no problem with her putting windows in. the whole neighborhood is ridiculous that they even give a crap. my point is that she is a celebrity and i use that term very VERY lightly on her, she is open for public ridicule. that’s how life is. like it or not.
i am 100 percent certain if this thread was about sarah palin or paris hilton youd be all over them making fun as well. but because this person is kinda boring it’s not okay to make fun of her “plight?”

rob- the annoyance is because they are sticking their noses in her personal business and choosing to invade her privacy. How does putting in windows on a side wall that is next to nothing affect the neighbors? Will couples suddenly divorce? Will the garbage stop being picked up? Will crime skyrocket? Myabe they’ll tell her to shoot her pet pit bull because he’s dangerous? Don’t be ridiculous.
Rob, that you should one day have people believe that YOU are on display for public ridicule.
Constant non-stop PUBLIC ridicule and scrutiny. Not whatever you’re going to claim is the public ridicule you already experience.
Maybe we should start taxing a property on the amount of glass it has….like in the 1700’s. ( “window tax” provision of the July 9, 1798, act was repealed by an act approved February 28, 1799). Then it surely would be a sign of affluence as DIBS points out. Or it may just curtail her paned efforts.
