the neighbors are probably just worried that with the extra windows they are going to be forced to hear her atrocious singing or seeing her busted mug. it probably has nothing to do with preservation, history, or aesthetics.

If that were my house, I put in extra windows too. Why not? The more interior light the better and that brick wall is plain ugly. Except for safety concerns to a load-bearing wall, its really no one’s business so long as the windows are within LPC guidelines. And hey were approved. So why is this worth 3 threads? Let her enjoy her house.
