Roofer Rec: Nick & Aaron Kontzamanis (Leakmaster 718.421.2000).

I want to very highly recommend Nick & Aaron Kontzamanis of Leakmaster (718.421.2000)!  I recently had a new firestone roof put on my brownstone, in additon to two new custom skylights and I can’t express what a joy it was to work with Nick and his son, Aaron.  They completed the entire job in one day, were extremely professional, left my house perfectly clean, and consistently went above and beyond my expectations.  The decision of what roofer to use is a big one and I am so lucky for having come across these guys.  They dont outsouce or subcontract and take great pride in the quality of their work and their materials, so much so that they give a 20 year guarantee.  Brownstoner has been an invaluable resource to me and I hope this rec is helpful to the forum. I fourth it! We hired Nick to replace the roof on our new home last summer. He was friendly, courteous and super efficient. I trusted him with the keys to my house while I was at work. He called me to update me on the progress and finally to let me know when the job was completed. Found out about him through the B’stoner community. I highly recommend Nick.

rockhill I want to follow suit and say that Nick at leakmaster is totally stand-up.  He came by my place and solved a leak issue I had.  He also gave me a totally reasonable price for redoing the whole roof and gave me honest advice about it needing to happen in 2 or 3 years.  Then he wouldn’t let me pay him for the visit after having been out on the roof with him for 2 hours.  Will absolutely be working with Nick.

As usual, I third it.  Can’t help myself for continually singing Nick’s praises.  After more than 5+ years of relying on Nick (and Aaron) for all kinds of repair and maintenance tasks of our roofs, leaders and gutters,skylights, etc.,  we’ve yet to be disappointed.
