recommend wood restorer

Joe Salem of Woodzone restored our front door after years of neglect. He did everything right. He returned calls promptly, he arrived when he said he would, he did what he said he would….and more. He knows his wood and his materials. He’s reasonably priced as well. It was a damned beautiful restoration. But it’s not just his work that deserves a top rating; it’s the man himself. He’s a good guy. The sort of person we all worked with before NYC became so jaded and high priced. I highly recommend you give him a call. ps He has photos on his Woodzone website. Our door is on it with the beautiful period curved handles.

I second the opinion. I had him restore both the set of front doors on my brownstone as well as the a Victorian door that I had purchased online for my garden level entry. They came out gorgeous.
