Quick Bathroom Help

Try Build It Green in Queens for midcentury bathroom fixtures. They also have other locations, which may carry more Victorian stuff, but I haven’t visited those locations, only heard about them.

Hello- We have 1950’s bathroom that we are looking to refresh, but not re-do. I am looking to hire for the following… any reccs/advice? -Tile The walls are tiled, and the tile is in good shape physically but I would like to paint it so it looks better. Does anyone have a recc for someone who can re-paint/re-grout the bathroom? -Vanity The vanity is very worn. I have seen vanities for sale online but I was wondering where in the area might be a good place to find one that is reasonably priced? Thank You!

I am not sure I would paint tiles. I recommend Daniel Sherman 917-226-0101 as a handyman who can regret, paint, minor fixes. He did work in my tenant apartment and was meticulous in the prep, the execution and the clean up.

There is a great website, retrorenovation dot com that is full of resources for mid century bathrooms. You will find sources for replacement sinks, tiles, etc. I have used Henry Calderon for a number of jobs phone 347-401-8870, he is very honest and reliable in addition to doing a good job.
