Getting plaster dust off wood floors

A contractor didn’t put down paper before popping some holes in the wall, and now my wood floors are dusty. Sweeping and mopping still left a haze on the floor, with white stuff in the cracks. Any ideas?

What thetinkerswagon said and then use one of the darker tinted wood floor cleaners like Minwax Reviver or Bruce Cleaner

mop and mop, changing the water often. it helps if you have a mop ringer.
