Do I need DOB permit for brownstone stoop resurface?

AFAIK you do not need a DOB permit, but you Do need one from LPC if you’re in an Historic District.

Hi all: would truly appreciate your advice! I must resurface only the top layer of my brownstone stoop as the current color is too bright(I want it to be closer to the dark brownstone color as opposed to the current reddish tint) Do I need to file for a DOB permit if I am redoing only the top layer of the color as opposed to stripping the steps. Thank you tons as I am very confused!
