I’ll second Jeff’s recommendation for Jose.  We found him here (via Jeff’s rec) and he painted all of our interiors.  We have a lot of moldings/old detail and he did a very neat job.  He’s also a pleasure to work with – always shows up exactly on time, no crazy macho attitude, etc.  He’s actually working at our house in Crown Heights today!

I have a great guy that painted our whole Brownstone room by room as well as finishing some windows, old front door, metal railings, etc. Great guy who appreciates the work. On time, neat and great work ethic. Very reeasonable rates. The one catch is his english is not great. Some spanish is helpful, though he will come to your place first and in person he understands the job. I buy all materials, make very clear how and what I want done, and I have recommended hin to many here. Tell him Jeff on Midwood referred him. Jose (347) 458-4173
