Plumbing inspection - gasline pressure test

Plumber will need to file application: ” legalize work done by others” with DOB. You most probably will need to pay fine for illegal work without permit. Then open up all walls and expose all plumbing piping. Licensed plumber will do all arrangements for inspections and tests. Then he will need to sign off job and close the permit. Price on this stage probably will be least of your worries.

Hi – I was wondering whether anyone has advice on the following: I did a renovation a while back in Park Slope but some of the inspections were never completed (e.g. plumbing). I had a (non-licensed) plumber do a pre-test of the air-pressure test, which failed, but he found the source of the issue and corrected it. I think a licensed plumber needs to be present at the time of the DOB inspection (waiting for an appointment date, hopefully in the next week or so). Does anyone know who would be able to do this at a reasonable expense? Thanks

The plumber who filed and pulled the permit is the only one who can call for the inspection and must be present. Personally.
