We just bought a house. Last night we noticed mold in the basement that we have never, ever seen before. We know that it is not properly ventilated and we were planning on taking the steps to build the ventilation it needs. We put a dehumidifier down there today, but I wondered if we need to get a professional mold inspector or if this is something simple we can do ourselves.   Thanks.
