Anyone interested in having their place scouted for a film?

aw, c’mon once in a while isn’t the end of the world.  however, my big pet peeve is the serial homeowners who do film after film after film, late at night, parking nightmares, etc.  The first few times i guess its flattering that a major film filmed on your block, the 10th time its downright horrible.  i personally wouldn’t bust this guy’s bawls though, there are far too many other issues in brooklyn than people doing an honest job.  seriously, its still rough out there in BK, give this guy a break.

Are We Officially Dating? November 6th, 2012   To Whom It May Concern, Cinergy Pictures, Inc. is currently in pre-production on a new feature film titled “Are We Officially Dating?” (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1800246/); written and directed by Thomas Gormican. The film is a Romantic Comedy that follows the life of three bachelors trying to remain single and the complications that presents.  The film stars Zac Efron (17 Again, The Paper Boy, The Lucky One) and Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood, Ruby Sparks).  “Are We Officially Dating” is set to film in New York City beginning in December of 2012. At this time, we are actively scouting for a number of locations to showcase in the film and that is why you are reading this letter.  One of the main characters residences is scripted as being _Timeless, classic, with a free modern sensibility._  This residence should have some of the following design elements: _detailed panel molding, heavy baseboard, high ceilings, art__._ At this time we are looking at Townhouses and Brownstones in Brooklyn. Film crews—one neighbor gets paid, all other neighbors get shafted. Constantly running noisy generators, klieg lights at all times of day and night, displaced parking, crew hanging out on sidewalk as if they owned the joint, telling you where to walk and not walk, telling your repairmen to stop making noise and move their trucks. Inconsiderate and unwanted from start to finish.

Marvin and cup of coffee…..how do you make it thru the day with all that anger???  Film Crews can benefit homeowners and the neighborhood they work in..paying individuals, block assns, churches, schools, groups, etc.  If you haven’t gotten any money, maybe it’s cause you’re bitching all the time.
