Hi, For color ideas check out Houzz.com. a good rule to follow is to have cabinets & counter tops contrasting, ex. Light cabinets w/dark counter tops or dark cabinets with light counter top. We purchased decent – not super quality – through Costco (havent had them very long but seem to be holding up ok). A little tricky to put together. For tile, I like Classic Tile – Lots of choice & very good prices for high quality. For counter tops we used G& Marble (6217 6th ave. bklyn, 917-662-4294, ask for Ricky) – This is one of the best suppliers that I have used. very reliable, excellent service & better prices for stone & corian than any other place in NYC area. They also have good prices for stone tile, just limited styles. (I found G&Marble through Brownstoner!) Good luck

Hey everyone, Can anyone give some good recommendations of where I can buy high-quality paints for my kitchen. My husband attempting to do it himself (:-/). Anyone have anys recs on color schemes that have used, where can I good quality brand cabinets? tiles? countertops? Looking for a reasonable price but decent quality. Thanks.
