a remote zone has failed in my alarm,i tryed changing the battery but it stii doesn't work, what can i do?
when i remove battery, the alarm beeps so i know something is happening, but it still says system trb.

I don’t have an off button. it’s a slomins system, so i enter my code then press enter, doing it twice justs turns system on then off. I am trying the battery out for a while on the remote door transmitter. thanks for the info.

Deboer is on the right track. Sounds like a Honeywell/Ademco system. You need to make sure your the cover securely back on the transmitter then enter your code + off twice.

Did you try leaving the battery out for a long time? That’s the advice I’ve gotten from some of the techs for our system.
