StreetLevel: Slope Getting a Piece of the Bay Ridge Pie
A much loved Bay Ridge pizza parlor is bringing its thin-crust formula to 5th Avenue. The owners of 77th Street’s Peppino’s are opening a restaurant on 5th between 10th and 11th streets, in a storefront that’s currently being gutted. going to franny’s tonight. can’t wait.
Two Boots is AMAZING pizza.
Love them.
agree that anthony’s pizza (7th ave@14th) rocks…way better than la villa, way better attitude than franny’s, which, after one visit, turned me off for life.
Two Boot s pizza is great. La Villa not so great.
Maybe it will affect Two Boots pizzeria-turned-lactation-bar and put them out of business. That is the sorriest excuse for pizza ever.
Wow–there must be some really low standards in Park Slope as far as good food is concerned. La Villa is the trashiest, greasiest “Italian-American” restaurant I’ve ever been to.
Anthony’s on 7th Avenue and 14th Street. Good pizza, good pasta, good salads, good environment.
I’m so hungry I could bite a squirrel.
Totally agree about Franny’s. Wildly overpriced, tiny portions. Horrible attitude on our last visit. Vowed (again) never to return.
