I don’t give out cigarettes anymore. I used to, and I believe in Karma. Once a few months ago i was out and asked someone to bum one and they fuckin went off on me. So no more. Screw you all (strangers) !!

I planted arugala and spinach seeds outside this morning and put pansies in window boxes last night.
Lots of plants grow even when temps fall below freezing.

Rob, people move all the time, and over a 10 year span, of course the numbers shift a bit. But it all averages out, and the better the numbers in the first place, the easier for them to adjust accordingly.
The amount is cigarette scrubs is INSANE these days!!! I used to never care about giving someone a cigarette if they ask, but im sorry now that each cigarette is exactly like 50 cents and probably going up soon, asking to buy a cigarette from someone for only a quarter is just gauche. Unless the person has a dollar bill in their hand i take out the empty box i keep on me at all times, look in it and say ah sorry this was my last one.
It’s not even hobos who bum cigarettes anymore (im more likely to give a cigarette to a hobo these days), but it’s people dressed immaculately, saying things like they quit because of how expensive it is to buy a whole pack, etc etc.

I read that the Commerce Dept is going out of its way to hire Spanish speaking census takers because of under countering in the Spanish speaking neighborhoods. I didn’t know that 80% number in WH. I guess the demographics have changed a lot in 10 years in Spanish speaking US.
Pete, was living with family 10 years ago but I don’t remember us getting it then either because no doubt my parents would have asked me to fill it out since their English are not that great but maybe they did fill it out. Not sure.
