  1. Denton, thanks. I ask because I went to see a house for sale on 16th street yesterday. They apparently sold off their FAR/backyard to the condo development on 15th because the parking lot for the condo goes literally right up to the back of that house. Per google earth, that house used to have a backyard. I had wondered how they were able to sell of every inch of land they had excluding only the house.

  2. thanks for the advice but I think I’m out of my league. Biff – are you really completely indifferent? I just can’t imagine having my wife chose sofas and armchairs again because she choses things comfortable to her whole 5ft 3, which doesn’t go so well with my 6ft. Also, her major priority is appearance whereas mine (for sofas, not women) is comfortablness in both sitting and sprawling positions.

  3. Oh and bfarwell when you think you have gotten your way, you haven’t. It’s like a mouse thinking that getting to the end of the maze was the result of free will. No, you just got to the end of a path that someone else made for you and then wrongly assumed that getting there was your idea. That’s pretty much 99% of life though.

  4. “i heard north philly is fun. pink is from there i think”

No. Pink is from Doylestown, close to where Dave’s country house is. Not at all like North Philly there. Pink’s real name is Alicia.

  5. Hey, Denton, maybe you know this…I thought that in NYC a house couldn’t sell off or cut off more than 40′ of backyard space. Thought I read that at some point in the forum or something. Is that true?
