Agree with Slopey and Kens. Had I been a paralegal first or worked in a big law firm out of college, I never would’ve gone to law school . . . which is almost certainly why my father wouldn’t let me take a year off after college. Most of the paras who worked for me decided not to go to law school after a year in the firm.
Lech, I sit next to and work with a bunch of corporate lawyers and those homeboys are on 9-5:30 schedules until something big/bad happens with the firm. that’s CUSH my man
Hey BHS I have a computer nerd question for you. Our old laptop is dying and we just got a new one delivered today. Is it possible to transfer all of the old files from the old laptop to the new one directly by just hooking up a cable between them or smoething? Seems like a big pain to try to put everything on CDs or out on some hosted storage site somewhere.

Windows has an automated way to copy the data files and settings from one system to another, but it is pretty hit-or-miss.
You can also use your network (wireless or wired) to manually copy files, but it takes a few minutes to configure.
Either way, you will have to re-install any programs.
lech – The only problem w/ doing it that way is that you also import viruses. Download to a thumb drive.
Sounds to me like being a gardener is the most fun of all.
My brother told his kids to sit in on some law school classes before applying – none went to law school.
