yeah, exactly

i always overtip those guys, mostly because everyone i know undertips.

Here is my thing about waiters and waitresses (I still use the terms actress and stewardess too).

The waiter or waitress are there to wait on you, not participate in your party. They really need to STOP and pay attention to what is happening with the people before they INSERT themselves into your social interaction. Have you ever had a heart to heart with someone about some important personal (emotional?) matter and just as you are framing your thought, some idiot bursts into your conversation mid-sentence, pencil poised mid air above order pad? Or bursting in an intrusively and inappropriately friendly way? GO AWAY. I don’t go to restaurants to have friendly banter with the waiters. It also annoys me when a date or business assoiate makes a big deal about chit chatting with them.

I think it is bad manners.

Funny we were joking with him that we haven’t been able to get into keens and he replied “we’re now in all the guidebooks”, we looked around and were the only nyers there, monday night no less.

BTW, I have determined that the Date of birth for my goldfish was the February 13, 2011. Arbitrary I know, but if they make it to one year, I am giving myself a party.
