Can you imagine asking Rob for directions? That would be like asking DIBS for tips on practicing abstinence.
I went to a cigar party thrown by BP once. Very MALE deal at a pool hall. I managed with the pool very well, but after a couple of hours I was practically crawling on my hands and knees out of the place (stay low to the floor where there is no smoke) and staggered out on the steps with my lungs SCREAMING for Oxygen. I almost passed out. It was in Washington DC and a couple of street guys were watching me.

Plus, I think I had to burn my clothes.
biff, maybe so but he’s been our waiter there for years. We actually ask to sit in his section as he treats us well. Place like South Beach just adds a minimum tip of 18%, someplaces just does it on amount of folks.
Biff, my sentiment exactly when I watch Amazing Race contestants get pissy and talk real real out to try to get the natives to understand them – ie makes Americans look like ignorant monkeys language-wise

i have some friends who are bartenders/waiters at euro tourist heavy spots. sometimes they just need to vent so they don’t blow up at the actual european cheapskates.

NYC schools good enough as many of us here are products of that system and we’re doing pretty well.
