DH, 20% to wait staff, they act like it’s the norm/expected but the delivery guys usually give me a big ass smile as if they hit a mini jackpot. Some even give me the “you dont want change back?” [in surprised but happy tone]

yeah – i’m rather surprised by that too, since most people from jersey i’ve met don’t impress me as rocket scientists – but i’ve heard that jersey schools are the best in several different places lately so i guess it must be true!!
Tips should be directly proportional to the amount of douchbaggery that the person has to put up with on a daily basis.
