  1. Obama willing to negotiate?

    ha ha ha,
    that’s a good one.
How long ago was it that we saw images of the Obama administration shoving the Healthcare vote down the throats of 330 million Americans against BIPARTISAN opposition?

The kept senators and congressmen in Washington.
Wouldn’t allow them to go home to listen to their constitutents. President’s orders you know.
    Elections have consequences you know.

    They sure do.

  2. Legion: Look up the BRIC nations and their ongoing plans to form a counterweight to American and European power.

I don’t see that as a negative thing. It is a natural as they grow to assert independance. And having a stronger voice in economic matters doesn’t hurt us. I have seen this in the commodity trade, i.e. Brazil standing up to the US for unfair trade practices (i.e. some of our agricultural policies) in the WTO. That isn’t a bad thing at all.

  3. Not only didn’t Obama negotiate with “the Republicans,” he has taken the lead on nothing–except teleprompter technique and golf. That Andrew Klavan I linked to says it all. That anyone, anyone could have respect for this dope at this point says more for you than Obama. He is a failure protected by racists whose expectation of black people so low that “he’s doing a great job!”

Yeah, sure. McCain was no one’s favorite, but he would have done 10,000x less harm than this a-clown has.

  4. “Ryan has put a proposal on the table and Obama won’t negotiate.”

All I’m saying dave is that the Republicans are just as likely to refuse to negotiate as the Democrats, so, if he won’t negotiate, it’s hardly like Obama is experimenting with a novel tactic in D.C.

  5. What many on the left are beginning to realize is that the economy is like a game of whack-a-mole.

Increase taxes too much during a depressed economic time and you strangle free market investment and growth.

Print too much money and you devalue the dollar and decrease the ability of Americans to spend. Most of the GDP is based on that consumer spending.

Stimulate class warfare as a political strategy and consumer sentiment begins to wane. Worse, the real possibility of civil unrest begins to rear its ugly head.

Cut the military too much and other nations vying for primacy begin to nip at your heels.
Look up the BRIC nations and their ongoing plans to form a counterweight to American and European power.

What’s funny is that we have the blueprints for prosperity but as a nation we seem to have this need to just go ahead and see for ourselves how bad things can get.

  6. Brooklyn Couch, I rarely invoke this power, but I have been invested by the luminaries of the OT with the grave responsibility and power of identifying who is unhindged and in need of medication. I think you are pushing the envelope with your Obama statement.

  7. I’m disappointed in a lot of things this administration is doing, but I can guarantee without a shred of doubt, that it’s a thousand times better than if McCain and the Repugs were in charge. Talk about clueless.

Really????? How can you know this with such certainty. Ridiculous.

And the name calling is so unbecoming of you but, now we know!
