I’m going with The Champs to Washington DC this weekend and was thinking of doing the following. From my recollection of being there before, all of the following is within walking distance. Do PLUSAs with kids think this sounds good? Any other suggestions?
US Capitol Building
Washington Monument
World War II Memorial
Jefferson Memorial
Vietnam Memorial
Lincoln Memorial
Korean Memorial
White House
Smithsonian
Air & Space Museum
I have well defined bike ideas, thoughts, feelings, problems, worries, etc. Why go on some bike thread and have tybur6 call me obscene names? I’m done with that.
I just finished with my lawyer – who is advising me on my work contract, severance agreement, etc.
I LOVE him.
He is a walking encyclopedia, speaks slowly and measuredly (Mr. Rogers comes to mind), smiles, knows NYS labor law inside out and knows capital markets labor practices and culture. He is thoroughly reasonable (at times was almost fatherly) and I think I have gotten excellent help from him. I think that in lieu of unions or other forms of protection, workers need good lawyers.
DH- I agree about white glasses but my first pair were a transparent red and they looked great. It really is a skin tone thing- but think about it. How many white women wear red lipstick? (Not that they all should- but it looks great on many).
“How will I get around?”
Cue comments about me having already been around.
Dona, my car cavort, I have some bad news.
I no longer have a car (technically we do, but we don’t). Nor does it look like we’ll be getting another one any time soon.
How will I live??? How will I get around?

Very elegant complex, Benson. Italians have it going… a long history of excellent engineering, matched by great sense of design.

Snaps- you’ll look great no matter what.
ME! Everyday. To buy a quart of milk.
Montrose;
I thought you might like it!
I’ve been avoiding bike topics today, but I may have to check them out.
