gem- evolution is not a belief, its a science. And yes- I have to honestly say your science education is lacking because you reject years of data, research and proof simply because you can’t understand how “goo” became, well, you. 🙂
Yet there is a real, scientific basis for the explanation. But just because you don’t know how it works, you’ve rejected it- that’s why I wonder how much science you got.”
actually my education was just fine – it was me not really interested in this stuff until I got older…
I think what Lech, Jessi and myself are saying is that we don’t accept the current scientific THEORY of evolution as the end all explanation of how life started here on planet earth. I am thrilled there are years of research which I am not entirely discrediting – but I am not convinced it’s the only way to explain how life got started and then evolved…..
Would you say there is still much room for interpretation of how life propagates itself?
Perhaps gemini is also pointing to the diffences in cognition evident between bacterial life and Humans who have achieved consciousness.
Does evolution alone explain the uniqueness of human consciousness?
After all bacteria have been around for a few billion years and never thought about life much.
What makes us plather away on the OT all day when we could be reproducing?
DH, no, there is virtually no possibility of that type of mutation developing. There are reasons for this. You really should check out that lecture series if you’re interested.
“Moose are well adapted to their environment. Definitely an evolutionary success, at least for the moose themselves. ”
Success?!?!!? A moose is a success?!?!!?
At this very moment, Benson, there are a bunch of mooses sitting around looking at your BOOTH BABE picture from the trade show and they are asking the EXACT SAME QUESTION!!!

“Ok, Jessi, it is a scientific fact that women CANNOT put on mascara with their mouths closed.”
