  1. >naps- why didn’t the driver tell that girl to move? It’s the law.

Yeah, that’s likely to happen. Why don’t they also ask people to move to the back and exit via the back door? Would double the the bus speed.

For that matter, maybe they should have recorded announcements.

  2. Pregnant women are not protected, rob. That was a bill the City Council was thinking about passing regarding parking. Besides, at 15, pregnant or not, she’s still in better shape than an elderly lady with a walker.

  3. 5 man crew is good — one in the truck for security and loading, and two teams of two to get furniture out faster. You won’t end up spending more for the extra guy, except for the driving time. Just make sure the guy on the truck stays on the truck. Sometimes a sourceof conflict among the crew.

Oh, and just to be safe, you could get them to put your crappiest piece of big furniture on first, so it is the last to unload. That way, if they hold it hostage for a higher bill, you can just tell them to keep it. Although with M&S, shouldn’t be a problem.

  4. I’ve seen plenty of times on subway also – older person standing obviously could use a seat but all the young (20’s, 30’s) so engrossed with their iphones, ipads, playing stupid video games they are oblivious. Even rush to beat someone else to a seat.
