“Legion, after your insult to me yesterday (and you are bad, bad, bad 🙂 ), I am ignoring you, even if birds are falling out of the sky for no apparent reason and other unexplained things are happening.”

What? You mean about the probiotic line of supplements and throwing a piece of lawn in a blender?
I didn’t mean to be insulting, they are definitely useful in re-establishing normal intestinal flora.
And remember, I’m the one who admitted to eating dirt, chalk and detergent as a kid. :o(
If you are still here, ET, regarding the Jewish Hospital Apartments – I’ve heard the range of comments. There are several very large buildings in the complex that have been developed as apartments. While all owned by the same company, they have different managements, and some are run better than others, at least one or more, from what I hear, not great at all. I don’t know which are the better buildings. They talk about it all the time on Brooklynian, so I think you can get more information there.
The older buildings, like the main hospital and the nurses’ residence are really quite beautiful on the outside. I hope those are the better buildings. The newer ones, from the 50’s and 60’s are less architecturally inspiring, but I don’t know anything about how any are run, or what the apts look like. Sorry.
JB, M4L, you are sounding very realistic. I may be going through a big reaction to what I went through the past through years — hanging in…in a bad situation just because I was being realistic during the great recession and financial industry meltdown. The reality is that this company got caught in its own bad decisions and I saw it happening but couldn’t move….we’ll see. I am feeling more optimistic now though than before.
Daring. Well, so long as you can float yourself til it works and you can get financing, then do it! But then again, if it doesn’t work, then you’re stuck doing the grind for lots more years to make up for lost earnings. I dunno….
“Jessi, do you think that it is impossible to combine making money and being passionate about something? The greatest entrepreneurs got very excited about something (not necessarily the business of making money itself) and poured themselves into their projects and their passion and interest and fun and dedication and creativity made them successful.â€
Of course that’s true, but sometimes combining your passion and your vocation can come up with something murky.
“But I think I know what you are saying. Make money and get things in order in that department and when that is ok, do something more adventurous.â€
Yeah, that’s all I really saying.

Haha…I will get her someday, Pete.
you can be passionate all you want about wanting to beat up that Rossi bitch, but you’ll never get rich doing it.

Donatella, what JB said is true. most people cant combine those 2. The ones that can combine it are the exceptions vs. the norm.
It’s better to give than to receive.
