one thing the movie touched on that I agree with 100% and have stated a million times before I saw this movie.

It’s fuckin pathetic that the best and brightest in this country in Math, Science and whatnot are going to the banks after college. What an absolute waste. They should be inventing shit and curing diseases.

one of my classmates in high school went to MIT for engineering (chemical i think, no idea what that is) – brilliant – 1600 on SATS, valedictorian blah blah blah, a real genius – not one of the ADD OCD good work ethic kids that succeed despite not being all that smart – and instead of doing something remarkable – they’re doing “business strategy” for Citi (or was, i think they are at HBS now)

To be clear, there are HUGE entrenched interests here in the US that are tied to the existing regimes over there. HUGE. At the risk of getting waaaaay too close to agreeing with dickhole idiots like Michael Moore, those entrenched interests seriously color the views of people like Dick Cheney on what’s going on right now.

I have no entrenched interests other than making the world safer for my kids. So bring it on.

dh, sorry dude but that’s conspiracy theory b.s. that I would expect to hear from Michael Moore. Oil is used because it’s cheap. When something is cheaper than oil, we’ll use that.
