  1. DCB – Deep, deep sympathy! I know so many people who have been through similar. I don’t understand why, when there’s already an agreement, there isn’t some process of ajudication to just hold that as read & instead people have to pay lawyers to fight these battles. It’s really criminal.

  2. thanks JB. I was seeing some juicy retail leases but the landlords might be shaky financially as they have tons of unsold condo units above the retail spots. so was concerned to put in money to renovate the retail spots then have landlord file ch11 and reject the lease.

  3. “NYU should get an award from some marketing organization. Thirty years ago they were a second, perhaps even third-tier chool that was busted, and had to sell off their engineering school.”

they should thank it all to that WB drama “Felicity”

    seriously

  4. “”This is going to be mega expensive. ”

I marvel at all these expensive divorce proceedings. Granted we weren’t married, but my ex and I were together for 8 years. When we split, I gave him the deposit money for the apt. which I had put down. He gave me a valuable print, my engagement ring, and a fancy toaster. I took my money, he took his money, we cried a lot, and now we’re best friends.

Why is it that people lose touch with the love that brought them together? And why can’t they reach back and try to remember that when divorce comes around? Be amicable, be fair, and skip the lawyers.
