  1. “East Williamsburg” now encompasses: All of Bushwick, Ridgewood and parts of Glendale, Queens, as well as northern bed-stuy and clinton hill.”

    muhahahaha,
Just the places where my real estate interests lie.
With my renovations completed in the Bushwick-Ridgewood property, just rented at a rate 50% higher than previous tenant.

…Cartagena retirement with flower farm and sail boat is one step closer. 😉

  2. more predictions,

-Interim government steps in consisting of
    Mubarek-friendly leaders.

-Egyptian military remains loyal to more
    secular interests like the US.

-This does not sit well with more “radical” portion
of those people calling for revolution. (i.e. Muslim Brotherhood).

-The more radical interests will continue to press for a change more in line with their interests, namely : anti-US, anti-Western.

  3. The best meatballs I’ve ever had were at Amis in Philly. It wasn’t over the top overpriced…cheaper than Alto for sure.

There were some cute latino busboys though..

Yes, we need to get into the habit of remembering to order fish rare to medium rare. We do that at Saraghina and the fish is wondeful.

Haven’t been to Scopello’s all winter…need to go for the short rib.

  4. been looking at apartments on craigslist.

it’s amazing how big Park Slope and Williamsburg are

“East Williamsburg” now encompasses: All of Bushwick, Ridgewood and parts of Glendale, Queens, as well as northern bed-stuy and clinton hill.

“South Slope” now includes anything in the high 20s, as well as all of Windsor Terrace and Prospect Park South. Even saw a few in Sunset Park and PLG trying to pass off as the Slope.

    Brokers are really annoying.

  5. dibs, sorry to hear that about Ciano. Best meatballs I ever had was at avoce-they were duck.

Over cooking fish is lame. I can imagine it was widly expensive to boot.

Probably wish you went to scopello’s instead.
