  1. “Ridgewood though has an additional dynamic going;
    a strong Eastern European presence muscling in.
    (it was always known as a German enclave)
    Many are buying up multi-family properties and renovating them for rent to their countrymen.”

    interesting. kind of the same dynamic that there is in Greenpoint with the Polish, except alot of them seemed to cash out. there are still many landlords who are polish that only rent to other polish (listings are typically only in the local polish classifieds)

  2. “Ridgewood is next. I predict hipsters will stop following the L train at Halsey and will start spreading up the M train.”

    I think so too,

  3. “Army temporarily in charge while transition takes place. Hmmm.”

    Hmmm, is right, Arkady. I’m listening to WNYC and some Egyptians were in a meeting/panel with Brian Lerher, as the news of Mubarak stepping down came in. On now.

  4. “Just the places where my real estate interests lie.
    With my renovations completed in the Bushwick-Ridgewood property, just rented at a rate 50% higher than previous tenant.”

    Ridgewood is next. I predict hipsters will stop following the L train at Halsey and will start spreading up the M train.
