  1. “dh, friend brought a place in DP last Feb, though lovely with lots of space, she does feel isolated as it’s about 8 more stops than Boreum hill and the services are lacking. Likes the dining choices but not enough.”

yeah – it’ll be a big change of pace. i like the idea of paying $1,200 bux in rent though, and all i really need is a bar, and a couple of decent restaurants and delivery mexican!

also looking in bed stuy – but seems way overpriced (everything decent seems to be in the 1,400 – 1,500 range)

  2. I had the TV on during the first half and through the halftime show while I was doing other things.

I was not impressed with the playing, and the commercials seemed dumb.

I did learn what was wrong with my TV antenna the last time I tried to use it. Apparently the mystery switch that we never figured out what it controlled is for the outlet behind a bookcase where I plugged in the antenna booster.

This is the 4th time I have watched or attempted to watch TV in the 9 months I have lived here.

  3. slopey – yeah, DP would be a good commute. Q to Canal or B to BWay/Lafayette (ideally I’d be living off the Cortelyou stop)

basically i’m looking at every neighborhood now. should be a fun june!

  4. slope the Illusionist was lovely and sweet. Seems the Tati’s are just acting french.

  5. dh — does DP work for you in terms of transportation? You might also look at Greenwood Heights. R to Q/N gets you to Union Square in 5-6 stops, and R to B/D gets you to E. Village/Soho in 5-6 stops as well. Not sure where you work, tho. And R connects with A/C at Jay Street now.
