Where in Manhattan are you thinking of?
When first researching moving to NYC, we thought we would end up in the UWS or Hell’s Kitchen. After spending time looking at apartments and neighborhoods, for us Brooklyn was clearly the better choice.

I’m thinking of Manhattan because every weekend lately I hang out there all day and I used to hate it but I’m getting very enamored.

really hurts writing out that rent check every month, especially since I don’t really hang out much around my bldg anymore – so i’m paying a huge premium for being in prox to amenities I don’t really use.
still love me some billyburg and my bldg rules – but i’d rather lay low for 2 yrs and then buy something

jester, what’s the motivation / pro’s for moving to Manhattan? I too am thinking hard of moving to Manhattan
I’m seriously thinking of moving to Mahnattan next year.
I went to the new Ricky’s that just opened up on Bergen Street, it’s pretty cool in there. Basically a drugstore but there’s a hair salon in the back. The guy gave me his card and I told him I’d grow it long and let him do what he wants with it.
