  1. I agree with you Benson. Our block has had random garbage pick up for the past 3 weeks, none of us know when it will get picked up so the garbage sits for days out front of houses/buildings!

I also agree that the website has gotten a bit stale and not too many interesting posts.

  2. I’ve got recycling garbage piled up outside. 3 cans, and then extra bags outside the cans. Are they EVER going to pick it all up???

I mean if snow (in Winter! imagine!) is the excuse, are we going to have this trash until Spring??

  3. round up The Usual Suspects

“Officials said significant leaders and associates of the Gambino, Genovese, Lucchese, Bonanno, Colombo and DeCavalcante families among those being arrested.”

You see alot of things growing up in NYC,
as a kid in ENY there was a “social club” off the opposite corner from where I lived. The mobsters liked their convertible Caddies.

On another occasion I had the unusual experience of dining with a convicted murderer in Gravesend. Of course, I didn’t know it at the time, this was only related to me afterwards. He had nice table manners and was a very good eater. I should have known when he told me that he was in “waste management”.

Then there was the time I was treating a mobster for bullet wounds received during a “take over” attempt.
It wasn’t my practice, but I do remember he skipped out on the paying the bill. No one dared to put him in the “collections” file.

  4. Ok, Boehmer didn’t go to the state dinner for the Chinese PM. Nice show of bipartisan support for the President. I was hoping to see some signs of intelligent life out of that guy after I got past his propensity to blubber.

On the other hand, Christie showed. Good for him. Thank you, Gov. Christie for your common sense, common decency, support for the President, support for the United States, respect for the office.
