I hardly believe that Sarah Palin is responsible for a toxic atmosphere. Both parties and most members are responsible, as well as the media and the talk shows.
benson- and after the election, it doesn’t seem the Republicans took much stock or engaged in any self-reflection either. Nor are they doing so now, after Tuscon. Certainly not Palin who will keep piling on the lock and load mentality. She isn’t responsible for Loughner, but she is responsible for a toxic atmosphere- which neither you nor legion want to admit to.

He has a display case of Turkey decanters they put out in the 1970s and 80s.
For some reason, I only drink Wild Turkey with him – it just does not seem right to drink it otherwise.
“But he organized a violent attack that seems consistent with his anger, views and goals. It was an organized and rational pursuit within a deranged and absurd worldview. I think it is quite a conundrum.”
